Create a booking
Add a direct reservation with a full price breakdown, taxes, deposit and payment plan.
- 1Go to Bookings and click Create Booking.
- 2Property Selection — choose the property (and room type and rate plan, if you use them).
- 3Dates & Guests — pick check-in and check-out and the number of guests.
- 4Guest Information — enter the main guest's name, email and phone. If they've stayed before, a card shows their history.
- 5Booking Source — choose the Channel (Direct, Phone, Walk-in…). Add commission if an agent or OTA takes a cut.
- 6Financial Details — check the price. Kunjey calculates the accommodation, fees and property taxes automatically.
- 7Payment — set the payment status and method.
- 8Click Create Booking.
How the price is calculated
| Field | What it means |
|---|---|
| Accommodation Total | Nightly rates × nights. |
| Total Price | Accommodation + fees + taxes − discount. This is what the guest pays. |
| Security Deposit | Refundable and not part of the total. |
| Host Payout | Total − platform fee − commission. |

Fields marked auto recalculate when you change the property, dates or rate plan. Type your own figure to pin it; click reset to … to go back.Monthly stays
For stays of 30+ nights, turn on Use a payment plan and choose how often the guest pays (monthly, every 2 months, quarterly…). Kunjey builds the instalment schedule for you.
If the dates are already taken
Kunjey shows what overlaps before saving. You can go back and change the dates, or tick the acknowledgement and click Create anyway.
